You have the right to know our outlook on a few basics...
On data collection: Sufficient, well processed and well articulated information supports good decisions. We take extreme care to collect sufficient, quality information for you to make good decisions. We realise there is a limit to the amount of data collection which is useful. We collect sufficient relevant information to do the job well.
Equally important are our skills to process that information and to articulate the output in such a way that you can make well-informed decisions. We have a very analytic approach to our work--but we avoid analysis paralysis.
We take a conservative approach so you do not have to.
On the limits of what we do: We work for your success. We do-the-necessary to make this happen. We keep our "eyes on the prize." We have the luxury to be focused, on your behalf.
Who does the work: We have no layers of consultants. Our knowledge experts work with you throughout the project—with appropriate expert back-up, when needed.
We charge only for work by appropriately-experienced consultants.
We treat all our work with you confidentially. We will not even publish your company's name in our literature--unless you ask us to do so.
For whom we work: We work for decision makers. These people usually work for companies or governments. Our client is the decision maker.
We work with you and your people--from the shop floor to the Board Room. Although we take pride in our written work and produce good communication, fancy packages at the end are not a usual goal for SBS. If you want one, we will provide it.

–On finances: We prefer to charge by the project rather than by time. We usually arrange payments evenly over the expected work with a small up front payment to fund early activity. We accept the American Express Purchasing Card for payment as well as direct bank transfer. Expenses are charged without markup. Although each project is unique, we try to follow the principle that SBS's contribution to your business should be at least 100% more than the cost of hiring us.
